Please leave a comment stating your location (City), which stores in your area double coupons, and what is their policy regarding such (i.e. how much do they double, are there item limits, coupon limits, etc.) I will list the information you provide as a database to assist other shoppers.

Note that I am not personally guaranteeing any information shared here. However, because store policies seem to be constantly evolving, I find that I can’t always rely on what I read online. This will provide some real-time insight from shoppers who actually patronize these locations.

I have not found any stores that double here in North Port/ Port Charlotte FL area. I would be interested to know if anyone finds any.

    • Chelsea says:

Also located in Port Charlotte area- just started couponing and new to this area. This is what I’ve figured out so far:
Publix will now let you use coupons on both BOGO items!
The Herald Tribune is a better source of coupons than the Charlotte Sun because they carry the SmartSource insert!
If you are local- I’d love to exchange emails and share insights on any on-going deals :)

      • Deb says:

Chelsea, publix also will accept (at least the one by me Toledo Blade and Price,) the RR’s from Walgreen. She said they say Manufacture Coupon so they will take it, and also competitor coupons from Winn Dixie, and Sweet Bay, and Target. So these can be stacked with MQ’s. This weeks Winn Dixie had a 5$ off 30 they will take. I mostly shop at Publix, Walgreen, CVS, and sometimes WalMart. Yes, you can email me at coupons.polley@gmail.com.

        • Katie says:

Hi there. I am in North port as well.. and shop regularly at Toledo Blade/Price Publix.. I have also been able to use RR at this store. Question… have any of you tried to do the “double coupon” weeks at Kmart.. When they have them? Any luck with the BOGO doubling?? I am heading out there tomorrow to see what i can do…

        • Deb says:

I don’t think Publix is taking the RR’s from Walgreens any longer. Its always an argument nowadays explaining that they are actually man. coupons. Not worth it. But Winn Dixie does take the RR’s for sure and with no hassle. Also they have some great BOGO’s on their meats, something Publix never does. So I have been getting my meat from Winn Dixie, but not much else. (their prices seem high on other stuff).

  2. I live in Spring Hill Florida and in Maine for a couple months a year. Any ideas where to double coupons?
btw LOVE< LOVE< LOVE your site!

  3. Cathy says:

No stores in Florida double that I’m aware of :(

  4. Amy says:

I callled all over the daytona beach, fl area. and no one doubles there.

  5. Mary says:

There is a store called Harries Teeter in Fernadina Beach, Fl that doubles coupons everyday and even have super double coupons..

  6. Sophia Aiken says:

Albertson’s in Florida does double coupons, but the closest to me is Orlando, 1 1/2 hrs away. i live in Tampa, and as far as i know, there are no stores that double coupons here.

  7. Erin G. says:

In Palatka, Fl Hitchcock’s Supermarkets doubles coupons up to 50cents. It’s not known to carry many mainstream brands though. you find good deals from time to time.

    • Tori B says:

According to their website, all Hitchcock’s stores double coupons that are worth up to and including 50 cents. They also take competitor coupons. They have several stores in the Gainesville area. I like the one in Alachua. They try to appeal to the college kids who live in the area and so carry items that are more in line with whole foods and/or green living. I go there sometimes. as it’s the closest to where I live.

Another online site listed Foodway as a store that doubles but I haven’t been able to confirm that.

  8. Christine Blankert says:

Hi. again do you know of double coupons for my sister she lives in Jacksonville Fl. and is on a fixed income , just as I am on please can you help us!!!

  9. Dustin says:

is there any store around central fla that double coupons?

  10. Dustin says:

is there any stores in central fla that u can use more than 1 coupon at one time?

  11. Tori B says:

If you live in Jacksonville then you’re not that far from Fernandina Beach. Harris Teeter has a store there. They double up to 20 coupons per transaction. I’m not sure but I think it’s all coupons up to $1. They will also do triple coupons some weeks. Check their website for details. I personally love that store. I used to shop at the one they had in Ponte Vedra. I guess they sold out at that location because it’s not showing on their website.

Also if you live in Jacksonville then you might want to check out some of the stores in south Georgia. You’re not that far from St. Marys and Brunswick. I don’t know what stores are there but I do know that Georgia stores are more into double coupons than Florida stores. It might be good to do a bit of investigating.

FYI-In Georgia they tax food items so if you decide to go, make sure your trip is worth the extra tax.

    Hope that helps you Christine.

  12. Sarah says:

Do you know if they double coupons? I haven’t been able to find a single Albertson’s that says yes :/

  13. PamelaJaye says:

I’m from Boston, now in FL. Used to be a half decent couponer. Really annoying that FL does not seem t double coupons – at least nowhere in the St. Pete/Clearwater area. (My then-husband went grocery shopping during The Perfect Storm. We were about 30 minutes south of Gloucester and it was pouring (we didn’t know it was a hurricane…) hit the usual 5 grocery stores… got really wet… but undaunted.)

So, no doubles here. And these new Get free eggs if you spend $25 on these 15 items… ick. making my head spin. Things that come in too many different sizes. I really have to go back to unit pricing, and so should the store tags!

Biggest hindrance to couponing? Aging. Used to be able to read those expiration dates without removing my contact lenses…

I used to clip. I clipped so much that I never used. I gave up. I’ve tried dating and database searches. Don’t have a smart phone though… Today I accidentally spent $28 at Publix while there sat in my car a $5 off $30 coupon. Didn’t realize it till I got home. Rather annoyed with myself. Didn’t mean to spend $30, mind you – but the Welch’s Cherry fruit drink was back after a long long hiatus, so I bought 4. Bunny greens were 2 /$5 hummus was BOGO (2 for $4) and the Cherry was 2 for $5…
Don’t tell me there were coupons or I might shoot myself.
At least gas is going down.

  14. Kim says:

I also live in the world of NO DOUBLES!!!
    Lakeland, Florida Never, Ever Doubles…

  15. Maria Wheaton says:

No one in or around Jacksonville, Florida doubles!

  16. Lisa Golden says:

I live in Tampa and call albertson’s on Dale Malbry and they say they DO NOT DOUBLE…..its just not fair :(

  17. amynix says:

My sister and I are very interested in getting the info. on extreme couponing or close to it, I shop on retail rack’s, using coupons, rainchecks, etc…, I want to know how to get more bang for my buck Im doing something wrong I know when I see you can get a thousand dollars of grocery’s for close to nothing or actually nothing, we need help!!!!!!!

  18. Nicole Butler says:

I live in Jacksonville, FL. Although no stores in Jax. double (aside from Harris Teeter mentioned above), you can safely add Harvey’s in Green Cove Springs, FL to the double list. I went there last night and confirmed they DO in fact double manufacturer’s coupons up to .50 and there is NO limit!!

    • Beth Anne says:

I just looked that is only 30 minutes from me! I’m going to have to look into them! Thanks for this great info! Thats WAY closer than driving to Amelia Island to Harris Teeter which IMO isn’t worth the 1.5 – 2 hr drive…What I’ll save in groceries I’ll spend in gas.

  19. Mary T says:

We live in north central Florida. Hitchcock’s Foodway doubles coupons up to .50. They have stores in Alachua, Newberry, Trenton, Williston, Hawthorne, Keystone Heights and more….They also take competitor coupons.
